Biography

Dr. Heng Seng Thai is a Quantum Software Engineer and Quantum-Classical Compiler Researcher passionate about advancing hybrid quantum-classical computing systems. He received his PhD in AI Convergence from Pukyong National University in 2025, where he developed a quantum compiler for optimization in Intrinsically Disordered Protein (IDP) Structure Prediction at the Quantum Computing Lab, combining his expertise in both quantum algorithms and classical computing to push the boundaries of computational biology.

His research focuses on bridging the gap between theoretical quantum computing and practical applications, particularly in the challenging domain of protein structure prediction. By developing specialized compilation techniques that optimize quantum circuits for biological simulations, his work contributes to making quantum computing more accessible and effective for real-world scientific problems.
